A Message from Our Founder

To Our Neighbors,

These are challenging and uncertain times in Southern California and the world, but I believe in the courage and resilience of our communities. It is what has sustained us in the past, and it will see us through the current crisis.

As many of you know, we pride ourselves in providing “town centers” for our communities, offering parks, fountains, and open spaces for our neighbors to visit and find respite. We believe our properties are extensions of neighborhoods and intertwined with the communities they serve.

As we respond to this extraordinary crisis, we want to be sure that Caruso properties remain valuable resources for the public. As we all follow directives to stay home, government officials and medical experts have advised that going outside, taking walks, and enjoying fresh air still remain healthy options as long as we observe proper social distancing. For this reason, in keeping with city parks and open spaces, our properties will remain accessible for the public to visit and enjoy. Our fountains are on, our lights are bright, and our properties remain secure. While you may not be able to shop or dine as usual, our grocery store and pharmacy tenants remain open to provide our communities with essential services.

It goes without saying that we will go above and beyond to ensure that our spaces are secure and clean, with hand sanitizer stations at all entry points and regular touchpoint cleaning. To protect our guests and employees, we have temporarily suspended concierge and valet services.

We have never turned our back on our communities, and more than ever before we are here for you. We will also do everything we can to look after those who are most vulnerable. My family and I send our thoughts and prayers to you and your loved ones.

God bless us all.

With gratitude,

Rick J. Caruso
