Cronut-master and renowned chef Dominique Ansel invites you to enjoy a weekly series of suppers, What Mom Cooked on Sundays, highlighting the authentic roots and recipes of each of 189 by Dominique Ansel’s talented chefs.

Sunday, October 7
Pastry Sous Chef Jennifer Oh’s Korean Supper

  • Pajun: a crispy vegetable pancake served with a sesame mirin and spicy scallion salad
  • All The Colors Japchae: marinated beef, carrots, spinach, woodear mushrooms, egg, and glass noodles in a sesame vinaigrette
  • Kimchee Fried Rice
  • Kalbi Jim: braised short ribs with daikon, carrots, chestnuts, and an Oh-Family secret soy braise
  • Hodduk: a traditional Korean street food similar to a sweet pancake, with a brown sugar and chestnut filling
